Q.
What makes Prescription Drugs Canada LLP so different
from other Canadian internet pharmacies?
A. We
are not the pharmacy. In order to protect our
clients and control our orders, we chose to be the
facilitator. PDC also owns the Canadian division of
the company, which hand delivers each clients order
to the licensed accredited pharmacies that we
contract with. This insures that all orders are
processed by certified reputable pharmacies for
shipment directly to you. As part of our service, we
monitor and track your order. PDC becomes your
representative if issues or questions arise. Our
customer service department is there for you, Monday
through Friday 6:00am to 5:00pm.
Q.
Why are your prices so low?
A.
Our prices are lower than drug prices in the U.S. for a few reasons. The Canadian
Government sets limits on pharmaceutical pricing and caps on subsequent price
increases. Additionally, the Canadian dollar is lower in value than the U.S.
dollar. We use our large volume purchasing
power resulting in the greatest savings for
our clients.
Q.
Are the prescription drugs the same as the ones I would receive in the U.S.?
A.
Canada has a rigorous approval system and high manufacturing standards for
pharmaceuticals. Many of the drugs sold in Canada are exactly the same drugs as sold
in the U.S. Others are the Canadian version of an American drug and, even though they
are the same medication, they may have a different name or look than the one you are
familiar with using. (For example, the U.S. drug "Prilosec®" is called
"Losec®" in Canada. It is dispensed as a tablet
versus a capsule, even though it is the same drug made
by the same manufacturer.)
Q.
Do I get charged a shipping fee for every prescription?
A.
You get charged one shipping charge per delivery, not per prescription. It is in your
best interest to send multiple prescriptions at the same time. We reserve the right to
limit the number of prescriptions to one address.
Q.
Do you require a prescription?
A.
Yes, you will need a valid prescription from your
U.S. physician. We then have a licensed Canadian doctor
rewrite your American doctor's prescription allowing
our licensed pharmacy to dispense your medication.
Q.
How long does it take to get my prescription drugs?
A.
Your order will be processed in 5 working days of receipt of your properly completed
forms. Shipping time can vary, but will take an
additional 14 - 21 days. Express shipping is
available at a slight extra charge.
Q.
Do you accept insurance plans?
A.
Unfortunately, we do not currently accept insurance plans. We suggest that you forward
a copy of your receipt to your insurer for their consideration. We can not guarantee
reimbursement.
Q.
How is my order packaged and shipped?
A.
The prescription drugs are packaged in sealed containers conforming to the highest safety
guidelines and shipped directly from our pharmacies via the postal service to your home or office.
Q.
What is your privacy policy?
A.
All client information is kept strictly confidential
and used only for the purpose of prescription dispensing.
Q.
What if I have a problem or want to talk to someone in person?
A.
Although the majority of our clients enjoy the convenience of contacting us by phone,
fax, or e-mail, we realize that there are times when in-person assistance is preferred.
For this reason, we have local offices in Arizona that
